News from the new LDSD (Low Density Supersonic Decelerator) can be found here. The LDSD is a new landing system. Test will be launched today.

Mission managers are proceeding with preparations for a launch attempt tomorrow morning, Saturday, June 28 of a high altitude balloon carrying the Low Density Supersonic Decelerator (LDSD) test vehicle to the edge of space on a test flight from the U.S. Navy's Pacific Missile Range Facility in Kauai, Hawaii.

I will try to find interesting ESA news as well and make an ESA thread as well if possible.
