Do you guys know of any documentaries, or "based on a true story" movies about idiot-savants?
I've seen the Rainman.
I've also heard of this one golf player, Moe Norman, who people say has the "perfect swing". He was considered a savant as well. He didn't compete too many times in the PGA Tournament because he was afraid of the spotlight. But according to some pro-golfers he was the best golf player ever.

yeah, he could putt as well, he won like 55 Canadian Opens. One story goes ppl were making fun of him while he was on a 3 par hole. I guess he got pissed off from all the ridicule, so he said "I ain't putting anymore", then prompty drove a hole-in-one.
And he's also considered the fastest pro golfer, in that he would take only 3 secs to set up his shot and hit the ball. Most golfers would stand in front of the ball for quite a long time before hitting it, but he didn't.
