our 'young' have to be 18 just to be legally permitted to learn how to drive under supervision of a qualified instructor, and get a license only after completing a very very strict examination (theoretical and practical)
umm when I say cow tipping I mean Dnet comp tipping over at the DPC's joint and seeing that my parent's computer also cracks for TA she would be fine with that it am sure

you have no idea how lucky you are the skill and courtesy of the drivers in the usa is somewhat lacking (especially in NY NJ CT) My driving test lasted about 10 mins at most thats pathetic!
Yeah, most of the people in the US have no business even being on the road at all!! The only place I've ever seen with worse drivers is Puerto Rica (or is it Rico, oh well).

Yes I think that the Hollanders have the right idea in many respects. The exception being the rural families that depend on the youngster's ability to drive to school and work. In the rural setting there is a lot less people to be affected by mistakes.
