I wasn't too impressed. Although the movie had to incorporate a lot of things into a 1.5 hour time frame, the snow ninjas just seemed pathetically weak compared to everybody else that they have encountered. Blah.

Time to watch eps 100+

I thought it was interesting to see a better view of the world around them. I had seen instences of technology through the series, but for the most part the show looked like it took place several hundred years ago. The movie had trucks and trains and movies and cannons, they even had chakra devices. Makes me wonder why they always run places in the series. But I will agree that the snow ninjas did seem weak, they even had this special armor and the y still sucked. ANd generally the movie did have a different feel to it than the series, not quite as cool.

The fight scenes could've just lasted a bit longer to justify the power of the snow ninjas. Kakashi ran away when he first met the snow ninja, yet he overcame him in one battle scene. Yeah, maybe it HAD to run away not because he wasn't good enough, but because he couldn't risk it. But when they talked, it seemed like the snow ninja leader put every other ninja leader to shame. It's like, "Wow.. Orochimaru kicked so much @$$, but this new snow ninja looks like he can wipe the floor with Orochimaru." And then you're disappointed.

I'll have to watch eps 100+ now.
