Can someone give me a link explaining these dots? I've read every manga chapter to date and there is no mention what each specific dot does. I just assumed there are 2 dot and 3 dot varieties period.

Can someone give me a link explaining these dots? I've read every manga chapter to date and there is no mention what each specific dot does. I just assumed there are 2 dot and 3 dot varieties period.
each dot lets him "copy" or "predict" what the opponent does
1st dot helps him see through illusionary techniques (genjutsu)
2nd dot helps him copy ninja spell techinques (ninjutsu)
3rd dot helps him see regular/fast movement-hand to hand techniques (taijutsu)
and when you kill your best friend, these dots combine to form CAPTAIN PLANET!!!
That's the thing I don't recall this ever being mentioned in the manga. Can you give me a source or a general idea of where it was first mentioned?
Sorry, havent read the manga (MUST NOT SPOIL ANIME!!) but all this info came from the anime series (i think around ep 30 when they started mentioning that Sasuke can't copy Taijutsu... yet (when he fought Rock Lee), and them some flashback episode where Sasuke's like, "Why aren't my eyes like Itachi..")
Well, just watched it. Phenomenal animation. Naruto is like a box of chocolates: You never know which studio you're going to get.
This finally surpasses the Zabuza/Haku arc in terms of insane fighting animation. The 3rd Hokage vs Orochimaru/1st/2nd tried, but it didn't achieve. But this... This was a great episode.

Interesting I reviewed those manga chapters and sasuke did copy lee's taijutsu at that time, which he used on his oppoenent during the one on one match ups later in the examine. Note that I only read the manga since it is always ahead of the anime.
Checked out some fan sites and I noticed the anime seems to embellish things form the manga. Such as completely new new techniques that never appear in the manga such as the bug clone skill.
Well, Sasuke did copy Lee's Combo and called it the Lion Combo, but he didn't use the eye to do it. He just copied it because he was biting off Lee
(Naruto did the same thing, and everyone was like ...) Even Lee told him that he should be able to use the Sharingan to detect Lee's movements, but he couldn't (Sharingan wasn't fully developed, still had 2 dots). He was only able to copy it after he felt the effect of the combo. Finally in this episode did he get the 3rd dot and was able to predict the speed of the Demon Fox. Hope that clears things up?
