i wonder what sasuke did to get the taijutsu dot? (originally he could only read illusion and ninja techniques w/ his sharingan, but mid battle he got the hand2hand combat dot)

sasuke did not obtain the eyes that Itachi has. i will include spoilers but we all know that naruto doesn't die, so make your own speculations.

the manga is not far off, it may only be ahead by 10 episodes or so.

the manga is probably ~20 eps ahead, you know the anime is gonna give you tons of crappy filler after this arc.

I wasn't aware that the different dots in the sharingan were linked to different types of jutsu, like ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu. Pretty cool.

I haven't watched this episode yet, but I read the manga. I'm not looking forward to the ridiculous amounts of filler.
