Narrowing down temp problems

I have tried the following:

1. My voltages were >1.41 on my opty 170, so I lowered them, no really change in temps

2. Lower my accelero x2 fan speed to next to nil. 2C lower temps only

3. Opened the front of my case (all two loyers) about 2C temp drops.

So, it doesn't seem the heat issues are voltage related or really even accelero x2 related. But get this; if I run a game for over an hour I get around 50C for mobo and 45C for cpu. Then I turn the game off. Temps go down to around 48C mobo and 39C cpu, and STAY here. If you DO NOT run a game, temps are 43C mobo and 36C CPU and more or less stay the same. This looks to me to to be either one of two things, maybe: My front and back fan are not doing their job. OR. Faulty mobo. what'd ya think? It seems once this hot board gets even hotter, they heat is not being dissipated. I really think the mobo is faulty, but I am not taking it back unless it gives out.

Just cpu temps http://www.gen-x-pc.com/cputemps.htm
Your mobo and cpu temps are reversed when compared to my setup. My cpu works at 37C and at load 44C, mobo @ 32C, ambient 24C.

My 2 cases are PC-60 with 4 fans, Yate Loon 80mm and 120mm. The 2 front intakes cool the hdds, and the 80/120mm are exhausts. I love the mobo trays, maybe this helps in cooling. I use a slot fan on my GPUs. Aluminum really helps to dissipate heat.

My Seasonic has that huge 120mm intake fan, that might help but its quiet. The only noise I can hear barely is my generic AMD HSF. Quiet and cool, my, my.

Can you replace 90mm fans with 92mm? Can't find any 90mm with LED. If not, can you buy LED attachments?
