Narrowed it down to 3 SSD's, anyone have an opinion on which I should buy?

Based on price range I narrowed it down to these two drives:

OCZ Vertex Series OCZSSD2-1VTX60G 2.5" 60GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Kingston SSDNow V Series SNV425-S2BD/64GB 2.5" Desktop Bundle 64GB SATA II Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Then I did a lot of reading on here and saw a lot of people recommending the Intel X25-M. It's about $60 more than the other two, and while it has 20GB more space, space isn't an issue, this is going to be used as a boot drive only, but i'm willing to spend the extra money if it's better.

So, that's the choice, OCZ, Kingston, or Intel?

What should I get?

Thanks.

If you don't need that much space, go for Intel X25-V 40GB; same read speeds as X25-M; just halved write speeds and half the price; excellent deal IMO.

No experience with the Kingston, but having used two Intel SSDs (a first-gen X-18M and a 2nd-gen X-25M) and four OCZ Indilinx drives (2 Vertex and 2 Agility), I never saw a difference in system responsiveness between the SSDs. All performed admirably, whether with Vista or W7.

I know that the Intel drives are very resilient when it comes to alignment requirements, but on a fresh Vista or W7 install, this should not be an issue. The OCZ Indilinx drives have the advantage of GC on non TRIM-supported OSs, but even with a first-gen Intel X-18M (no TRIM), I saw no real degradation in benchmarks (and never any changes in day-to-day performance) even after several months in Vista.

The X25-V is a viable option, but since the 60GB Agility occasionally hits $135-145 after rebate, the current $110+ price of the X25-V makes it less attractive.

I've had the Kingston 4-series for weeks now and it's being constantly hammered as an OS drive where my Adobe cache resides.

No issues whatsoever and no slowdowns either. It just works. Completely happy with it and still beats the performance of the WD black's i've had prior (and still do, as pure data drives).

The x25M is about $190 after bing right now.
