Both $90. Both Aluminum. Both at Newegg.

First one: Antec LanBoy Link1

Second one: Chieftec full tower workstation: Link2

Which one do you think is better? I can't decide if it would be better to have a gigantic full tower, or a tiny mini-tower for ease or portability.

i've worked with both... 🙂 i'd pick the full tower just because it has more space... not that the lanboy's space is anything to complain about. oh... and if you don't mind having the same case as half of the world... since almost everyone has a chenming lookalikey.

If you want quiet, get the antec, it uses a Smartpower which has quieter fans than the CHieftec. I would go with the Lanboy if I were you, Chieftec cases are insanely huge and take up too much space. But if your into the full tower thingy, go for it. BTW how reliable are ISO PSU's?

I was thinking the same thing. The ISO is 450W or something, which is pretty strong, but if it's going to explode on me then i'd much rather have the Antec 350.

I would go with the Lanboy were I you, and instead of the chieftec you might be interested to look into some of Antec's higher-end cases, unless you're really committed to being able to see into your case (an effect I get by never putting the sides back on).

Get a quality power supply and a quality case maker (though not too quality; i can't bring myself to spend more on a case than any other component🙂) and you should be good to go.
