Can you help me out? I will be buying a Japanese Sedan from 1996-2002 model years. I'm trying to find a good/reliable sedan from this period WITH a sun/moon roof, reliable, and low repair rate. Do you know what models this would be? Have budged of around $5-6k for a used one

And what is the difference between moon or sun roof??

Thanks

Lots of the Toyota Camrys have sun roofs; can't seem to get an XLE without one.

I'm not sure, but I think the term moon roof is applied to those that are transparent.

Camry FTW! -- careful with any of the V6's from '96 to '01 for a Possible oil sludge problem

A sun roof is any kind of opening that lets light, air in.

A moon roof is a sun roof with a 'glass' panel.

Lexus ES300.

Sunroof is where the glass slides back on the outside (top) of the car when it opens.

Moonroof slides INSIDE the roof when it opens.

Disclaimer: I'm not 100%, I could be wrong.
