Turns out the picture they ran with was not a new one. Based on the description of it being a telephone call.
But still... given Russia's fixation on ethnic cleansing of other people's land. Of damaging and blackmailing the world food supply via the Black Sea, there is no room for passivity. No room for honeyed words towards Russia and their actions. Shame on India.

The vice-president of the gurdwara, Amandeep Singh Johal, told CBC News that Nijjar was an activist with the Sikh independence group Sikhs for Justice.

Hothi said Nijjar had received threats because of his support for a separate Sikh state in India called Khalistan. He added that the shooting would not deter those who share his beliefs.

In 2016, CBC News reported that the government of India was seeking Nijjar's extradition from Canada on charges related to extremism.

"The assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar is gravely alarming for Sikhs in Canada," said WSO president Tejinder Singh Sidhu in a release.

The WSO said CSIS and law enforcement in Canada failed to adequately protect Nijjar, who, it says, was a target of Indian intelligence.

"The role of foreign interference from India must be thoroughly investigated, and those responsible for this crime must be brought to justice," said the WSO release.

Update: Looks like Canadian Intelligence has “credible evidence” that Nijjar’s murder is tied to “agents of the government of India”.

Modi better offer full cooperation with the investigation and bring any rogue agents to justice—lest he be compared to “Bone Saw” Muhammad bin Salman. Not sure that would go over well with his Hindu followers.

Pardon my ignorance but what kind of doom are you referring to. I guess there can be down sides to trade but am I wrong to think that done well both countries stand to benefit. Countries are just people so isn’t it people who will benefit.

There is a massive amount of racism in the world that is very hard for whites who used to assume themselves to be genetically and naturally born superior still benefit from without conscious awareness of it. People all over the world, held to be inferior, dominated by European expansion and resource plundering over centuries of colonialism and the unconscious air of racial supremacy, like all haves over have nots, managed to deeply ingrained via envy and an want, a worship of whiteness and white privileged into other imaginary racial groups. In India, for example t@ller lighter northern Indian groups are paid conscious or unconscious deference because the visually appear to be more white. Interestingly, this creates political tensions in the nation.

As whites have always assumed themselves to be racially blessed northern Indians exhibit as a generality, that same assumed superiority, including religious and linguistic bias expressed as Hindu nationalism, evoking again, generally speaking, contempt from southern India where economic growth and standards of living are higher. Capitalistic business friendly regions of India flock to the state of Kerala where strict worker protections provide much higher minimum wage. So while northern Indians with their self assumed cultural arrogance gifted to them by their comparative whiteness, darker shorter economically more dynamic southern Indians say shove it with your cultural arrogance and fix your own poverty before you impose it on us.

My sense is that Braznor is one of those people damaged by white cultural domination in the past, the resulting scars of. Inferiority coming full circle. He is now in need of the damaged self esteem needs offered by assumed cultural superiority which explains why he appears as such an obnoxious prick. He wants to wear the shoes of white supremacism for the same reasons whites did and still often do, change the world into a culture that reflects the superiority difference often brings. Inferiority makes fools of people focused on race religion and nationalism. There is just one race and it is all of humanity. Inferiority is a hole that you can only dig deeper and it is done by hating difference as if difference has sone magic meaning.

Feelings of inferiority that manifest as cultural arrogance always turn feeling inferiority into the real thing. The world is full of self hating pricks because we become what we fear. Who gives a shit what other think if you know real love of self. What such people express is love. The need for external validation and conflict shouts out unconscious feelings of worthlessness. The infected hind their sadness behind massive ego. Humility is a cure.
