Napster "checking for devices..."!!??

Very annoying. =( I just downloaded Napster to try out and everytime I run it a box pops up saying "checking for portable devices" and doesn't let me do anything else. It goes away and then comes back every 4 seconds. I have searched around the web and even called Napster support (they said to uninstall and reinstall it, which I did to no avail).

Anyone else have this problem with Napster? For the record, I don't have any portable devices and there doesn't seem to be an option in any of the menus telling the program NOT to look for portable devices.
