When those in a position of authority use a racial slur directed at someone beneath them in the pecking order, they better start packing their bags in preparation for the boot. I don't care that these women are cops and they "should expect this type of behavior from their superiors". While I am not a police officer, I was in the military for 10 years and imagine the two are simliar in this respect. I am relatively certain that no where in the officer training material or at the academy was it ever said that police officers should expect to be called nappy headed hos by their superiors.

This is not about the "pussification" of America, rather, one more step towards having respect for others. We have a pretty crappy history regarding this and sadly, we probably have a long way to go. While there are those in this forum that think "America was made for White Christians", there are certainly others that think the exact opposite. One day, all of these white Christians will start acting a bit more "Christ-like" then we'll be where the founders of this country imagined we would one day arrive.

I'm not quite sure how much of this post is sarcastic, but if you had said "strong people", i wouldn't have had much problem with your previous post. I can completely agree that acting as if a minor insult damaged you, is a weak and dishonorable thing to do. That's why in an earlier post I said that the women should receive nothing, even though the supervisors should be discliplined for being unprofessional.

I don't agree that the groups you mentioned tend to react any differently than other groups. Members of those groups will act in the same variety of ways that members of groups you didn't mention will act. I would like you to be more detailed in making your point. I guarantee that I can disprove any evidence you use, though.

I should not have insulted you earlier, but I still feel it's infinitely better to insult a person because of something that person said, than to insult an entire race of people because of the actions of a few people.

No kidding. I'm surprised this comes as a shock or suprise to anyone. If you're too stupid to know the difference between right and wrong or acceptable and unacceptable behavior then you deserve to face the consequences for your actions.
