I used to have problems sleeping, but alcohol solved that quick and easy

Down 8 shots in 15 minutes about an hour before you want to sleep, read Anandtech for 15 miniutes, then turn on soothing music with the lights off while you lay in bed... if you're not out with 30mins drink more and repeat

I'm a minor.

Your point?

Takes me forever to fall asleep, even if I'm dead tired. No way I could do this little catnap thing where you wake up 20 minutes later or somesuch, if I sleep, I'm out for hours. If you won't be sleeping, have a beer to calm the nerves :)

I know what you mean.

I just took a "nap" from 6:30 to 12:30. Now I'm going to be up all night.

yeah, I hate naps. Totally fvcks with my sleep schedule, and I still wake up more tired than I was when I went down.

I knew a lot of people in college who napped, and I laughed at them all :p while they were taking a nap, I was getting my work done ;)

I never nap.

But my ass fo a dad always falls asleep in front of the TV and snores like a pig, so I can't watch TV.

Napping = devil.

I wish I didn't have to sleep. I have too much to get done and not enough time to do it. I vote beer, BTW.

Naps are great! Especially when your work schedule fluctuates like mine (some days I have to be at my desk at 5:00 AM, others it's 8:00 AM or so).

OrooOroo is correct. But I'd say no more than an hour.

You quickly learn to NEVER get hard sleep during the day or it screws up your sleep cycle for weeks.

A short nap is great, but 4 friggin hours? That's not a nap, that's half a night's sleep.

Never nap for more than an hour. If you nap too long, you get caught into deep sleep and your body won't want to get up until it's gone through about 5 or 6 rem cycles.

Anything more than 20 minutes of napping and I will feel like I'm in a daze for at least the next 2 or 3 hours.
