hated the movie, I'm sure I'll hate this one too.

Fox has picked up two animated series eyed for next season, Napoleon Dynamite, an adaptation of the hit 2004 indie movie, and Allen Gregory, co-written and executive produced by Jonah Hill. Both series are produced by 20th Century Fox TV; Allen Gregory is a co-production with studio-based Chernin Entertainment. The order to Napoleon Dynamite is for 6 episodes, while Allen Gregory has been picked up for 7 episodes. Both projects originated as presentations.

The original cast of Napoleon Dynamite led by Jon Heder is back to voice the animated series, which follows the misadventures of an awkward high school teenager and his quirky friends as they struggle to navigate life in rural Idaho. The film's writers Jared Hess, who also directed it, and Jerusha Hess wrote the adaptation with The Simpsons veteran Mike Scully. All 3 are executive producing.

They're a little late on this fad... that being said I was never able to finish the movie. Really frustrating to watch.

That's it... I have no more faith in this country. I always tried to look on the bright side of everything and have always defended the silly mistakes and decisions... but this is it. There's no coming back from this.

I'm so ashamed

I enjoyed the movie a lot. It's was so awkward it was hilarious but I see no reason to make a cartoon based on it especially 6 years after it was released.

Why do you love me
Why do you need me
Always and forever

We met in a chat room
Now our love can fully bloom
Sure, the World Wide Web is great
But you, you make me 'salvivate'

Yes, I love technology
But not as much as you, you see
But I still love technology
Always and forever

Our love is like a flock of doves
Flying up to heaven above
Always and forever
Always and forever

Yes, our love is truly great
Always and forever

Why do you need me
Why do you love me...

Sorry I'm late. I just got done taming a wild honeymoon stallion for you guys.
Hey Deb, can you take a photo of me on the horse real quick'
Sure.
Thanks.
I hope you guys's experiences are unforgettable.
Lookee lookee, a little keepsake for you guys.
Lucky.

Loved the movie. I really don't know if a show will work.

Very polarizing...I know.

50% love it, 50% didn't get it. No sense in arguing.

right. Because it's always either "love," or "don't get." sure.

I completely got it. That's why it sucked. I got it so well, in fact, that I realized it was ~1.5 hours of the same awkward schtick over and over and over. it was overdone tripe.

There is nothing "to get" with that movie.

Oh, I think everyone 'got it.' The difference is some people are entertained by variations of the same joke over and over and over and over and over again and, some folks aren't. You know, kinda like fans of Seinfeld.

The movie was hilarious, but this will probably not be.

Yes, but exactly the opposite.

I liked the movie, but you're right that it doesn't have any kind of deep meaning. It's just about a bunch of interesting characters doing random shit. I bet I could throw a football over those mountains.
