It was the funniest movie I watched all year.

The scene where he is standing in front of the lockers and some random guy walks by and slams him into them was one of the funniest things I have ever seen in a movie.

 for Napolean Dynamite!
 for you

Funniest scene for me is between when he slaps his brother during their fight, napolean getting a steak thrown in his face, or his brother saying "you're mom goes to college" to that girl. HAHAHAHAHA so great, still funny when I think about it now.

i saw Matt Groening speak a few years back. he said that, as a whole, no one on the internet wants to hear a middle ground opinion. In order to be heard you need to have an extreme opinion-- love it or hate it. this was the genesis of Comic Book Guy's "Worst Episode Ever!"

personally, i liked the idea of the character and the acting but i hated that it had no story. nothing really happened! he had no goal, no plan.

just finished watching the deleted scenes

goddamn the 'hiding the suit' scene was great
as well as the kickball scene

what a great movie

Is this movie just as stupid as Freddy Got Finger? I only managed to watch like 20 minutes of Freddy before I turned the channel on the dish. Based on the TV commericial of Napolean Dynamite DVD, I feel it ranks as just as low.

Hated It!

I didn't get this movie at all. Many have said you need to be from the middle of nowhere small town to get it (preferably Idaho/Utah), I grew up in a big city and live in a big city now.

I find Chris Farley movies horrible as well, but they fall under the "so stupid its funny" of comedy and therefore are somewhat enjoyable.

ND is just stupid, not funny at all. I could relate to none of the characters.

The characters are charicatures. If you can relate to any of them you need help. . . NOW!!

As charicatures, they are frickin' hilarious. If you didn't know a guy sorta like Napoleon in highschool, then you didn't talk to enough people outside your clique.

It was frickin' hilarious.

To anyone who liked NB, I reccommend to you FUBAR. It's an updated hoser Canadian movie that's sorta the same humour. But much funnier.

A close to quote:

"So what's your plan in life"
"Well, you giv'er, man, you just giv'er. You know, you just wake up every day, you work hard, you know, you giv'er."
"And that's a plan?"
"Sure that's a plan!"

Totally different level of humor in Napoleon Dynamite compared to Freddy Got Fingered.
