Naperville anyone?

Nope... had a girlfriend from there one time..
the company I support is based there...
but other than that too cold and too far north for me =)

I've been there for a lot of concerts. Its a nice burb, but I wouldn't want to have to live there.

So there are a few neighbors. So I'm not the only one. You guys think naperthrill is expensive? I have lived in naperville my whole life so I haven't really checked prices in other parts of the country.

Yes there is a big diff... JUST between Downers Grove and Naperville, the cost of living is about 10% higher in naperville. I moved back here from TX... I lived in a nice town one of the more expensive areas, and Naperville's cost of living is 40% higher then there.

Naperville is one of the most expensive areas around.

40%? Dang that's a ton. Maybe it's time for me to move out. I do work from home so I can move anywhere. But was TX nice? I really like Naperville. It's a nice clean town without to many problems.

Naperville has one advantage... the schools and education system are top notch. Now some of that has to do with the people that live there, it is half the reason people move there. My aunt and uncle moved there because of their kids.

But just as an example here is where I lived in TX, now this is a quickly expanding area... population change is 212% compared to 41% in naperville. Overall most things are close, crime is even lower there. But cost of living is a insane change. Everything is lower ESPECIALLY housing, you can get the same house there as you can in naperville for literally half the cost. I loved it there except maybe the heat, got a bit warm during the summer. If you can live on $50k a year there, it would cost you $72k to live here.

Nice info. That's a nice tool for checking out cities. To bad I didn't even go to Naperville schools growing up. Stupid private schools.
