It seems that many a US PC builder is getting their wish as Nanoxia cases are finally coming up for sale in the United States. I spotted the article on Anandtech and the Pre-order on Newegg showing that Nanoxia's Deep Silence and Deep Silence 2 are going to be available in the United States soon. Pricing on Newegg doesn't look that bad for either case since Anandtech has reviewed them in the past and said that they are great cases for the money.

Since they are just coming to the U.S. I'm not entirely familiar with them beyond online reviews. Does anyone on the forums use one of the Nanoxia Deep Silence cases? If so, what are your opinions on it/them?

I am personally interested in this considering I like silent running builds and will probably be looking to build a new one later this year so I may want to consider a Nanoxia case for that build.

wow, those prices are actually very good. A good bit less than the similar Fractal's which I was about to pick up. Seeing these now I might opt for one over a Fractal

Would love to compare them all in person first though

I know, I saw that yesterday. Just bought a Fractal Design Mini about 3 weeks ago for $10 more. Still, the FD case is pretty high quality. I may pick up a Nanoxia to repace my aging Antec 160, though.

yeah, but look at their shipping cost! I hope that's not the final s/h charge once they're available!

well the DS1 and the R4 are within $10 of each other after shipping costs, so essentially the same price

the DS2 is $20 cheaper than the R4

I, like Dustin, find the DS1 more appealing than the DS2. So all in all they are VERY competitively priced. I think I like the DS1 more than the R4 as well, but I would really like to see both in person first, but it might be hard to find a DS1/2 in person anytime soon

These cases are hands down the best mid tower cases on the market. The DS1 is actually extremely good for water cooling as well.

I love TTL's reviews on cases because he goes into great detail, check it out.

I think you can potentially put a 240mm Monsta rad with push-pull in the front.

Just received my DS1 today. Building now. First impression is very good. The side panels weigh maybe 8-10lb alone with all the sound deadening material.

Update: I built it yesterday and I've been tinkering with it since. The video linked above by badboy really nails the important points on this case. My own comments:

It's big. It's heavy. With the exception of the side fan, it is very quiet. With the 3 stock fans and no side panel fan, it's very quiet on high or low. As configured stock, it should sufficiently cool a singe GPU setup pretty well and remain very quiet.

I'm still fighting with the side fan to cool my 7950/7970 mining combo. With the stock 2 front and one rear fans, two additional low-speed fans in the chimney, and a really crappy 120mm fan in the side, it cools everything pretty well, but the side fan is killing me. In open air, it's a noisy POS ball bearing fan, but in the panel it makes this annoying buzz sound (3 other fans did the same). With the dust filter it is better, but airflow is much less. I might try some washers or grommets to lift the fan away from the panel without the dust filter. This may improve the sound quality. I have a 140mm fan on the way so I'll see if that sounds better.

The built-in fan controller is pretty nice. It takes up to three 3-pin fans on each channel and there are two separate channels.

The magnetic split front panel is very slick. It looks good and it's very functional. The flip out fans in the lower front are also a very nice touch.

As highlighted in the youtube video linked above by badboy, the pop-up USB thingy is a POS. It just doesn't work. On mine, you have to push way too hard to make it pop up, then it pops up about 1/4 of the way. It's so bad that I think I'm going to put in a request with the manufacturer for some type of replacement. Maybe the have re-engineered it by now. I won't use it much so it isn't a deal breaker.

Mounting options for fans or radiators are very good for a lower cost case. All but the lower front cage are toolless removal, and I think the lower front is screwed in.

Got my DS1 last friday and I kind of felt the same way - USB pop-up panel could of been done slightly better, which doesn't mean it's actually poorly made, at least in my case. Might be just some bad luck for Binky :\ Still no big deal for many ppl since you'll just plug your mic/headphones in and probably forget about it.
The case itself is really good overall. Would choose it over Fractal R4 any day, played with both and liked Nanoxia a bit more.
Btw. window side panel is on the way, TTL confirmed it in one of his recent vids.

I saw that Nanoxia is offering a side panel with a window that is compatible with both the Deep Silence 1 and Deep Silence 2. I'm not sure when that may be offered here in the States, probably awhile after it debuts in Europe but hopefully not too long. My main concern is how such a panel would affect the noise dampening of the case given the acrylic of the window.

Nanoxia DS1 no longer listed on Newegg. Have been unable to find another US seller.
