Nanoelectrofuel for EV vehicles

Never heard of it either but it's interesting battery tech for sure and could help with EV adoption if it can get out of the lab and scale up to be commercially successful. In the article you cited there are 1 or maybe 2 companies trying to make this commercially viable. If they are able to do this it really could be a game changer.

I recall about a decade back that this was getting some fuss, as a company, I think called Quant, was making big claims about this stuff. Even got Koenigsegg (who even co-developed a concept car, which looks quite a bit like the Gamera) and I think Pagani on board, although it unravelled within about a year. Wasn't sure if it was a scam or a company hyping tech that was nowhere close to production (let alone mass production - although for companies making maybe 10 cars a year, low production wouldn't be that big of an issue and cost could definitely be absorbed in megabuck luxury toys) or what. This makes it seem like the latter.

Oh jeez its been almost 15 years already! The concept car was called Quant, not the company. But I recall the nano fuel cell refilling thing.

The kinda funny thing is, Zeekr just showed off a new electric car/battery they claim can recharge 311 miles in 15 minutes.

Which I thought lithium iron phosphate was supposed to be cheaper and charge more slowly and have lower density than the current standard lithium ion?
