Anyone have the latest nano? Interested in geting one to use the bluetooth feature to play over the car radio, interested in how well that works if anyone has experience with it.

I have it but i havent tried the blue tooth.

Other than that It works great and i like being able to watch video podcasts. The radio also works great.

I just use an aux cord and leave it in my car during the day.

Good timing, lupi.

We went on a road trip this past weekend, and my fiance has the latest Nano. I had to use an old aux cable from her dad because I kept forgetting mine at my house. Anyway, we tested it, and the thing kept skipping and we had no idea what was going on with it... Well, of course it was the cable.

So getting to Bluetooth....

I have an HTC Stereoclip that I use in my car since I only have voice over BT built in and not music. The little guy works fantastically. I always use it with my Droid DNA and I never have a problem ever.

Well, we ended up pairing my fiance's Nano to it because I finally remembered that it has BT built in. It was freaking awesome using it. The Nano and the Stereoclip are both BT 4.0 so they can both transmit/receive a higher frequency meaning that it's as close to CD sound as possible. The music sounded great coming from it, and it was a delight having this tiny little device transmitting music to my car.

There were absolutely no issues with it whatsoever.

I've got a fusion that has BT input, in fact if I cycle through inputs with my BB in the car since that is synced it will start pulling music from it if I leave it at the BT selection long enough. Yeah I coul also use the USB input in the car...but a wireless if effective would be much easier.

Well guess it was good timing that I was looking into this. Glass on my previous one got cracked so I picked up a new one on amazon. Took me a few minutes to figure how to sync it as somehow the check marks under music and podcast became unchecked when I plugged the new one in. Only took a moment to get it playing via bluetooth in the car. Only negative there is that it disconnects my phone and I have to manually add it back. Did have a moment where I was trying to figure out how to control what was playing as when connected via usb I could select album list and such from the radio, via BT only could select play/stop/next album. Then I realized I still had to use the actual unit for album/song selection. So far so good.

I do wish though that they could improve the mechanism for changing position during playback, it's pretty much sucked since they went away from the clickwheel.
