Well, you know I don't even know what to say on this one. Denmark has a new ad campaign advising people that helmets are not just for bike riding anymore. They are now recommending that you wear a helmet when you walk as well. I wonder if this means that I should wear a helmet when I go to the refrigerator to get a beer?

Actually, not a bad idea, especially if it's voluntary.

Even more useful would be for anyone with osteoporosis to attach a large pillow to their backside whenever they walk around.

How about a full body cushion. We can all walk around looking like the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man.

A lot of people already have the built-in full body cushion.

I heard that Obama was requiring mandatory helmet usage while walking in order to be covered under his health care plan.

He also banned pretzels to help keep costs down....*choke*Bush*choke*. (one troll remark in exchange for another).

Anyway, Denmark has the best (via vote by the citizens) health care system in the world while spending less than 1/2 per capita than the US spends. They also have nearly twice as many doctors per capita than does the US. They don't need helmets ...they have better health care! :p

But, but , but . . . the Danish system has waiting lists. How can the Danes possibly be much happier with their system than Americans? Waiting lists are the only things that matter, I tell ya.

LOL, I was in Canada last week and talked to many people up there. They laugh (and are shocked at the price) of our health care system. Every person that I asked about the "waiting time" and "not being to get urgent treatment" told me "bullshit, we have just as fast of treatment as anyone, including the US".

They also spend less per capita (not sure what % of GDP) and have 4 doctors per 1,000 people whereas the US has 3 doctors per 1,000 people (per Lou Dobbs - CNN). FWIW.

I just wish you jerks would stop fighting wars and worrying about the shape on your nose and who u gonna do next, because if people would stop worrying about the irrelevant and start thinking about the good, we could all be wearing AI exoskeletons and in my dotage I could run around Africa at a hundred miles an hour to pet the lions and body surf down Kilimanjaro.
