Wow, that's pretty amazing stuff. It might allow for smaller NAND geometry, without significantly affecting PE lifespan, if they use these new NAND chips with onboard heating elements.

The technology looks promising but 800 degrees Celsius? Yikes. I would definitely not be a early adopter of any drive that uses heat to improve write cycles. Firmware problems would be the least of your worries.
