You would think a less enlightened man than myself, a cruder man than myself, a man less sensitized to the qualities and charms and value of women- a man like that, not me, but a man like that, he just might call her a 'wise and beautiful woman.'

Nice, McNulty.

I saw a clip of it and thought it was pretty bad. She tells him, gets a reaction, then tells him it's a report that they're trying to confirm.

You don't say something like that unless you know for damn sure it's true. Or at the very least you preface it very clearly that it's just a report and hasn't been confirmed.

So what happened? What it ever confirmed? Most of me figures she's just that horrible. But a little part wonders if it was done intentionally, with law enforcement's knowledge, to gauge his reaction.

Anybody catch the part where the guy says his cell phone is dead and charging in the car then later in the interview pulls out his cell phone and looks at it.

edit: Nancy Grace is a wise and beautiful woman.

It looks as if he was handed his cell phone from somebody.

They have these programs because people eat this shit up! The entire CNN HLN network appears dedicated to these cesspool dwellers.

Let's see, we have:

1. Nancy Grace

2. Joan Velez Mitchell

3. Doctor Drew

4. And an alternating cast of sycophants that complete the circle jerk

The regular CNN is hardly any better and don't get me started on FoxNews.

We are not being well served by the media at all, but people will watch Nancy Dis-Grace all day long.

I'm just going out on a limb here... the child could have returned back home on his own.

Nancy Grace is a total bitch and I really haven't a clue what trash likes watching her show daily...

Watch the traffic behind them. They're acting like each is reporting from a completely different location. They're obviously in the same parking lot, so why not both talk in front of the same camera rather than doing the split screen shenanigans just to look dramatic?

It's two news anchors standing literally on the same street as each other, purposefully shot to look as though they are in separate areas. You can watch the same bus/traffic go by simultaneously in both shots. It doesn't really have anything to do with Nancy Grace being a horrible person though.

look at the background, they're at the same location.

lol, gotcha. I did notice that, but I didn't think that was the point. I thought everybody knew she was an attention-seeking, drama-creating, heartless harpy. :)

Like I used to catch Fox News at noon some days when Megyn Kelly is on, because she's hot. But now that she has an evening show she has turned into an angry spiteful person... and she's pulling in O'Reilly factor numbers despite being, in my opinion, even more insufferable than listening to Hannity's filth.

I guess angry pissed off women delivering their editorials is just the hot ticket at the moment :(

I bet her and Gloria Allred would make a wicked steamy 3-some.

Obvious sarcasm. Both are cunts.

The first thing usually required (at least around here) is to submit to a search of the house prior to a missing person investigation.

If you think about the number and cost of all the resources this search caused, one is in the right to scorn someone a bit if they lacked the proper due diligence.

The FBI said they searched the house already, and they actually found some blood on a drainpipe- so it was about to turn into a homicide investigation.

Ah...one of our leading purveyors of tragedy/scandal porn. She generally appears to be a totally repellant excuse for a human being. Were I to own CNN I'm not sure I could stomach letting this festering garbage pile expel her unique brand of arrogance, ignorance, self-righteousness, and near total lack of empathy upon the general populace and still sleep at night.

I came in this thread just so I could put a face to a name I keep hearing, and then I see this...

I'd ask who the hell watches her shows, but I think I have a pretty good idea already.

Her fiance decades back. Though she got caught making stuff up about that in order to aggrandize herself. A real quality human being.

HLN is the biggest waste of airtime on television. Worse than the History Channel.

HLN, not CNN.

While not quite as dense as the people you were responding to: he was handed *a* cellphone, not *his* cellphone.

Whatever.

My only point was that it doesn't look like he was lying when he said he didn't have his cell phone on him at the moment. What the truth was beyond that I don't really care.
