People getting creative with names doesn't really bother me but there are some new ones that really get under my skin and I don't know why.


Aiden is one that annoys me. Makes me think of some kid with a laundry list of behavioral disorders.
 
BoberFett. It almost sounds like Boba Fett, a name that's totally awesome. Except it's not, instead just a pale, shallow imitation of the real thing. It's like asking your other half to go to the store to get Coke/Pepsi, only to get home and wind up with some lame ass generic store cola crap. God fucking damnit I hate generic cola.
 
Get in the small loan business. These twits say their names and act like they're offended and surprised when I ask them to spell it. 12 vowels and 9 consonants.
 
Generally, anything with an apostrophe in it and anything where the parents just strung a whole bunch of random syllables together to be unique.

One of those is my stripper niece's real name. :hmm:

Every now and then you'll meet some sweet Asian girl who picked out one of those as her western name, thinking it was cute. I worked in an office with a Candy and a Cherry. :awe:
