What are some names of brands that make distilled water? I live in San Ramon, CA and so far haven't found one yet. Any helpful input would be appreciated~^^

Kroger? Walmart? Albertons? Sams? Go to a freakin' grocery store, there will be distilled water.

AT amazes me sometimes.

As long as it's steam distilled and run through a UV sterilizer name brand shouldn't be an issue. I hope, because I went with the Jewel house brand.

Is it possible to use Aquafina? That stuff is supposed to be double distilled and contains no minerals.

It depends. High-quality drinking water has to have some mineral content to taste good, so they add controlled amounts back in after the filtering process. I'd for sure read the label before buying some to use as coolant.

Why not? I don't think labels have how they distill it.

I get mine at Walmart for 68 cents a gallon (central NY)... You can get "reagent grade" distilled H2O from some compounding pharmacies and chemical supply outfits. But for system cooling and similar applications, the Walmart etc. stuff is more than good enough.
