Namecheap Help || Which do I use

I signed up for a domain name with namecheap. Then I got hosting with e-rice.net. On namecheap, do I change the domain name server to the DNS server names at e-rice (dns.e-rice.net) or do I goto nameserver registration and type in the IP address for e-rice?

Correct, you would use e-rice's DNS name servers not IP's.
