I only have one, nothing special; Kawai Upright. Luckily, it was made in the early 70's so it's still all wood-none of that plastic crap you see Kawai hashin out these days. Gets about 2 hours of use a day. :D

Name your piano(s)! And, if you don't have one, that's ok, just say so!;)

My favorite is a good, broken in Steinway with a fast action (my wish list piano). I was raised on my Mom's 1935 Mason & Hamlin 6 or 7 footer. It plays OK, but Mason & Hamlin's tend not to be as bright as Steinways.

I have a Fender Rhodes (DynoMyPiano modifications) and I just snagged an Alesis QS8.1 weighted 88 keyboard from their parking lot going out of biz sale. :D

I also have a kewl keyboard amp -- a Fender SFX mid-side amp that gives a great stereo effect from a single speaker box. Truly the best Leslie emulation you can get. :)

Bah...electric pianos. ;) Actually, they're really good for some things...but most of what I do isn't appropriate for an electric.

That aside, I don't know any pianist who doesn't have a Steinway on their wish list. :) Realistically, I want a 6 or 7ft Knabe. I LOVE Knabes. I want one from around the 50's though.

Hey, I'm an "electric" pianist! :)

Actually, I live in a townhome, so I haven't the option of having my acoustic piano in here due to the neighbors. I have a Roland KR577, and I find the progressive hammer action to be pretty close to a grand. The sound is sampled from a Steinway, and it sounds A LOT better than any other digital piano I've played. I get to play with headphones, record things, and a bunch of other rhythm mixing/creation that I don't care about :) I do like playing Bach's Toccata and Fugue using the church organ sound though :)

When I buy my home, I'll be purchasing a baby grand (or perhaps if I'm lucky, a grand). The best piano I've ever played was this old, nameless, beatup grand at my school. The action was unbelievable, I can only imagine how great it is to play on some of those seriously expensive Steinways cost.

I have a vintage piano dated 1830's from Berlin Germany. I don't know what it is, but it's in perfect condition worth A FORTUNE.

Ouch! :) No, but unfortunately, my townhome brethrens don't appreciate classical music as much as I.

D Major. I like both the orchestral and organ version.
