MAFIA or Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow

Damn what a hard choice.

Max Payne 2, NOLF2, and C&C Generals. In fact, I still play Generals Zero Hour, so I guess that would be my favorite in replay value, but Max Payne 2 would take the honors for the first time around.
Max Payne 2 is DX9. Although the graphics didn't feature any DX9 effects, it was coded in DX9, so you needed to have it installed to play the game. So I'm curious to know if we still count it as a DX8 game.

COD (that was a DX8 game, wasn't it?)
OpenGL, but considered the same era.

Maybe the Medal Of Honor series?
MOH is also OpenGL, but considered the same era.

What gave your very little brain the impression you need to "/thread"?
Why won't you go throw yourself off some cliff you piece of **it.
No one here cares what you think, and we'd rather not having to see you again.

Now, not to hijack this thread, mine is deffinitly Max Payne 2!

Edit: well my initial flaming was worse...

Eh? Deus Ex 2 had dynamic lighting. Isn't that a feature that requires DX9?

ahhhh .. UT2004 how i loved that game .. now it is just in the cabinet collecting dust, whilst i play BF2, and AOE3.

Ohh and C&C generals/ Zero Hours were just amazing games, although i did dislike the fact there was no warships or subs etc No marine units .. I love the C&C games especially the Red Alert series .. ohh how i reminisce. I can?t play it now though because the graphics are just piss poor.

Mafia here... dues ex 2 ran like butt.... or Max Payne 2. That engine scaled like nobodies business, I swear. I wish more engines were like that one. Heck, it even still looks pretty darn pretty...

Morrowind. I stood and watched the shimmering water. I watched the sunrise, sunset, the beautiful night sky of morrowind.
