Name this 80's song

Damned if I can find out what it is! I remember the lyrics something like "If I washed my hands in your dirty water". I recall from my younger years a video with perhaps a bathtub. google returns nothing of love in this area, so I wonder if my recollection of the lyrics is slightly off...

Thanks to whomever can get it It was a fairly famous song I think.

If it is by the Payolas, the only reason it was famous to Skoorb is because it's a Canadian Band, and they played the local arena.
