Name The New Expos Thread

It'll probably end up being the Nationals. Thats the most realistic choice. I remember hearing that the Texas Rangers own the Senators name so I don't think the Expos could be named that.

Washington Colonels?

Generals?
Bombers?
Presidents?
Rebels?


Gah.. can't think of anything. MMmmm.. since hockey is dead here, why not take the Capital name? 🙂
 
Bullets is out - besides being used, anything that remotely connotes violence is a no-go (which is why it isn't being used anymore)

Generals? Isn't it their job to get their butts kicked by the Globetrotters?
 
Im pretty sure the expos own the senators.. seeing as there double a team is the senators.. unless thats a differant story

So you're proposing they be:

1) just a symbol (like Prince became)
2) called the STDs.

They should name them after the political party that wins the Presidential elections this year 😀

Democrats if Kerry wins and Republicans if Bush wins 😀

Or...they can choose to use their respective mascots (Donkeys or Elephants)
