I'm looking to rent a couple horror movies. I want REALLY scary ones, movies that push the boundaries of your sanity, like:

What Lies Beneath
Event Horizon
The Cube

So basically nothing from the 80's rack. I was thinking about The Relic as well. Anyone have suggestions?

Event Horizon = POS!!

BAD BAD BAD HORRIBLE ACTING

Private: Captain there's an unsual movement in the main reactor room
Caption: Uh.. .. .. really?

Why don't they just read the damn script while they're at it

What Lies Beneath is highly recommended.. it is a true horror movie.. i needed that.. away from those lame ass "Scream" or "I know what you did" series

I would recommend "Alien" or "Aliens" <---sequel to the first.
Both are pretty scary and I would go out on a limb and say the sequel is scarier. It would be cool to rent both and watch one after the other to see where the first one left off.

Sixth Sense
Blair Witch Project
THE BIRDS -- a must see! You'll crap your pants, even if it was made in only the early 60's!

Andy Warhol's Frankenstein.
i almost puked when i first saw it in 1975.

some of the earlier Hellraiser ones are good.
Texas chainsaw massacre is potential puke material, too.

SEVEN isn't outright horror - but the feeling of dread passes through each frame of this film makes it a "must-see film"...

If you want horror, try Requiem for a Dream - I still think about the movie from time to time...
