I stumbled on this article and am drawing a blank on some of these games. Some of them are very obvious, like Homeworld, Sim City 2000, Diablo 1, Tomb Raider, and grand theft auto, but I can't name the rest. Surprised Starcraft wasn't in the list.

#6 - I think the screenshot is actually Homeworld 2 which must have been early 2000's, 2003? I don't recognise the ship in the foreground.
