Name that bird

For the last two nights, I have been awakened after midnight by a bird outside my bedroom window. As I lay there trying to go back to sleep, I am struck by the variety in tis singing. It goes on and on seemingly without repeat or any pattern. I know that mockingbirds are supposed to do something like this, but I don't think they are a night bird. Any ornithologists out there today?
 
It's a mocking bird. It's a male mocking bird looking for a mate, so you are going to be stuck listing to him every night until he gets lucky.
