Scottie Pippen rookie card. when i was a kid, i saved up $50 to buy one. i thought if MJ's rookie card was worth thousands, Pippen's would certainly go up in value....

I stocked up on a lot of Star Trek toys from Playmates back in the early 90's. Each ship was selling for $100 for a while there. Now, not so much

My wife got into Beanie Babies...we all know what happened there. "Hey! We're going to stop making them! You better buy them all up!" ::massive purchase frenzy:: "Oh, we were just kidding- we're going to keep making them!" Then everyone stopped buying them.

heh, i should have gotten rid of all my pokemon cards a few years ago when they were worth something...i priced my collection out on ebay 4 years ago for 1800 bucks...now i'd probably be lucky to get 100
