I'm surprised it took so long for someone to post this.
I came in here to post this. So once again, it never fails.

Edit: You know, I've never had a CPU fail me. Video cards, DVD/CD drives, hard drives, memory, PSU...never CPU - or motherboard.

My clock radio. I've had the fucking thing for as long as I can remember. No seriously, since I was a small child. And I punch it every day.

Is it the old kind with the analog clock? I hate to tell you but it may put out a lot of EMFs. I tested mine and it did and I figured I shouldn't sleep with my head within a couple of feet of it. I wound up ripping the clock out of it and throwing away the rest. It's handy to have an analog clock around for when the power goes out. It shows the exact time the power went off until it starts up again. After the power starts up, the lag from current time tells you how long the power was off. It has a plug in the back and I could use it to turn on equipment if I wanted to (used to use it for that). It sits in my kitchen.

No, it's digital. But why would a clock radio have a stronger EMF than, say, a computer monitor or something?
