I haven't seen this...does this have the 'HOOAH!' Pacino or the 'reserved and brooding Michael Corleone' Pacino? 😛
that would be 'scent of a woman' when he utters that phrase. this is an older pacino movie (1973, after 'godfather' and a couple years before 'dog day afternoon'), where he plays a straight cop surrounded by corruption and trying to fight the system from the inside.

edit: btw, its based on a true story. imdb link

thatsright, nice list, but a majority aren't out on DVD yet. I'll deffinetly check it out when they're released though. Added serpico 🙂

YUCK!

Pulp fiction, resevoir dogs, terminator 1+2, rocky 1-3, saving private ryan. There are a few to get you started from the top of my head. Matrix 1 is ok too, the follow ups are pretty worthless though.

There are a lot of great movies out there, kill bill are not among them imo.

Depends on what you are after though, for comedy i would go with Monty Python.

Out of the ones i mentioned, Pulp and resevouir, terminator 1 and rocky 1 are must see movies.

hope you enjoy it. it isnt the greatest of movies, but i found it entertaining, and thats whats truly important, isnt it? since you seem to be starting a pacino roll, have you seen 'dog day afternoon' ?

I didn't like Reservoir Dogs, Terminator or Rocky. Saving Pvt Ryan was great (the book's awesome too) and Pulp Fiction was decent.

In that case you really shouldn't take any recommendations from me. 🙂
