Name some good wireless apps

netstumbler is fun... videolan is also kinda cool... if you have a spair pc sitting around you can make a media center to stream audio and video to other computer... Video isnt great over wireless but audio is fine...

I grabbed one of those FAR eCost USB adapters, very pleased with the power and results so far. Does Kismet play nice with the USB wifi, or just certain internal cards? I believe it has a prism chipset.

I'm also interested in what apps work well, I've had issues with netstumbler. Kismet looks to be much more powerful, just not sure on the USB issue. (haven't tried it through Linux yet)

I don't have any USB wireless cards so I can't say for sure, but I know wlan-ng has a USB driver and since I'm using the wlan-ng PCMCIA driver I would assume both would work.
