Name some good "Best of" CDs/Records

if you like a band, buy their real albums. best of's rob you of the hidden gems which you might never hear otherwise.

Tom Petty's Greatest Hits is one of the best "best of" albums of all time, bar none.
Steve Miller's is pretty good too.

 the first compact disc i ever bought. cd's have come and gone for me, but this one i still hang on to. i used to listen to this cd on my personal sony cd player that i bought with my first summer job when i was 14. it had no skip protection and cost like $150, but i was content with my tom petty album and the sastification of owning it with my own, hard earned money. good choice my friend.

my nominations?

sade - best of
stevie wonder - the definitive collection
marvin gaye - the very best of marvin gaye
alice in chains - nothings safe
al green - greatest hits
sam cooke - the best of sam cooke
