You want us to name... games?

Why don't you be more specific than "Consistent" about what you're looking for; then maybe we can help you.

Consistent, meaning non-resetting.

You collect X amount of $$, you have it when you come back a day later. Just like an MMORPG.

I know of one that you can keep units so to speak, off the front line - they're consistent, they don't reset. I just can't remember the name.

Universe at War was kind of like that. Syndicate was definitelty like that, but it is also at least 15 years old now. I can't think of any other RTS games that follow that model, where you keep resources from one map to the next.

Maybe you can get something like Supreme Commander where you just have huge maps, so that you don't change maps often and lose what you had built up?

Earth 2150, but youve missed the boat on that by about 8 or so years :p Single player was a bit meh anyways, still, very cool game for its time.

I have all 3 Earth eras, they were AMAZING except for 2160 when zuxxez(?) took over. :(

You remember building trenches, and tunnels, and defenses, and choosing what type of weapon goes on your units, and cloaking, transporting, and building bridges? The landscaping you could do was so fun!

But I wanted an online one :)

Yeah 2160 was a massive step backwards, 2150 had pretty much everything. The ED were the most fun :D that two turretted beast of a tank with heavy lasers and rocket launchers on it was awesome

I went online with it only to get owned by german people, they built trenches in front of their bases and then swamped me with minelayers or something cheap with a turret on it :\

Oh, you mean a single-player game with a campaign that carries forward your status from mission to mission instead of giving you new starting conditions for each new map or level.

From Good Old Games / gog.com, these squad-level, turn-based, tactical games fit the bill (but are not RTS)
- Fallout Tactics
- Jagged Alliance 2

Pretty much every PC RPG has your party carrying forward its gains from dungeon / quest to quest.

Old school 2D isometric, also at GoG.com
- Baldur's Gate 1 & 2
- Fallout 1 & 2
- Planescape: Torment

3D :
- Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic I & II
- Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines
- Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2
- Morrowind & Oblivion
- Fallout 3 & New Vegas
- Mass Effect 1 & 2
- Dragon Age: Origins

No, that's what Earth 2150 is, Dave...
I want an online game that carries my status forward, though. Like a single battlefield, everyone plays on one server, etc. that sort of thing.

Basically, Battleground Europe, Auto Assault, or Earth & Beyond (although they had 4 servers?), etc. but for RTS.

:)
