It's intellectually stimulating in a strange way. Kinda like having a macaque suck your toes... only it's in your brain.

Probably Shiner and CAD.

It was a genius plot really. Create a P&N forum, allow the outnumbered conservative posters to get verbally abused constantly, come down like a ton of bricks on the conservatives when they finally retaliate, and then drop the ban stick when they don't take it lying down.

As for Fausto, pffft. If I never have to read another post about how he "dominated" an amateur bike race in his local area by finishing 17th, it'll be too soon.

Because being passionate about a sport and working to be your best is a bad thing.

Fausto

I fear Fausto has been banned. :(

For what? Link?

Also, did Ornery just decide to stop posting?

I think Ornery stopped posting at like 20,000 posts exactly.

He actually came back as another poster for awhile:

Pikachu.

I have no problem with that. I run 20 miles a week and compete myself in local races.

My problem is that he frequently bypassed his tires and hooked his bike pump directly to his head.

I miss yakko. He always seemed to have a funny one-liner for every thread.

On top of the list of people I don't miss at all would be Nik.

You may not have read that from him, but I don't think you can call me jealous. I still have that clip on my desktop of Scorch passing the guy the last 100 meters in a 10K to win the race and gave him huge respect in his thread. Thing is, his thread was about 10 words and a link to the video whereas we got a full page run down of each of Fausto's non-wins complete with overblown lines like "this is where I blew the race wide open" and numerous links to action shots. Definite accomplishments, for sure, but they didn't need to be built up like Olympic events.

Maybe it's inherent to cyclists......needing to be fully equipped at all times in coordinated outfits with shoes and helmets and water bottles all matching. It's some kind of need for positive perception or something. I find it ignoble enough in general and doubley so when accompanied by a hauty attitude.

Plus how many times did that guy call me a troll? And then look who's been banned. Buahaha. :lips:

Anyway, I'll leave it at that. He and I would probably get along well in person but I don't miss his posts. But not you and I Mosh. We're arch enemies. Starting.......... ......................... ................................................. .....................now.

Besides Rollo I really miss Plastikus.

He was one of the few that actually enjoyed writing and watercooler.
