It's the very popular website where you type in your url and it tells you exactly which pages are linking to you. I can't remember it though I've used it before.

bump? a lot of bloggers use it to see who is linking to them. maybe i'll e-mail glenn reynolds, though i dont know if he'll respond.

i can't get the google thing to work, says it did not match any documents?

EDIT: Ok it works when i put like www.anandtech.com in there, but i'm linking to my site in my sig and at least 20 other different places link to it, but nothing shows up

Well, like any websearch, it's not perfect. Your sig, for example, is part of a dynamic page which is probably not indexed by Google. Other places that have your link may be inaccessable by Google for other reasons (such as a disallow in robots.txt).

These forums should be indexed by Google and therefore a link from our sigs should be as well. My understanding is that unless there is a disallow in robots.txt and is accessible by anyone (without the use of username and password) then it could be indexed by a search engine.

yeah but your sig is completely dynamic, in that you can change all your posts by changing the sig in your profile, so there's not much point in allowing google to index it since these sigs get changed pretty often.
