Name is wrong on the cruise ticket

My bf's name is wrong on his cruise ticket. The agent heard it wrong, plopped the wrong name on the ticket.
Not only that, but we have to fill out the homeland security stuff as well, and his name is spelled wrong on that too.
So now she wants to charge us a $50 fee to have it changed.
When I was spelling out his correct name over the phone, she still got it wrong. One letter.
She misheard 3 different people. My uncle, My sister, and Me.
So now I have to pay the fee or he cannot get on the boat.

The cruise agent needs to have it corrected. As long as it gets to the cruise line with the correct name (they print the pax manifest about a week before) he should be fine.

well. best thing i would say is call the cruise line, see what needs to be done then call your contact and have her correct it.

Bummer of a travel agent. I used Only Fun Vacations in florida I think, Ron was my agent. There was a problem with my luggage tags being wrong after we moved rooms, he overnighted the new tags to us.

Tell her to change it on her dime since she screwed up or call the credit card company and dispute the charge and explain that she is not willing to fix her mistake and is trying to charge you more money.
