Name a Sci-Fi show on air today that's as good or better than Stargate SG-1

Well, I like porn as much as the next guy but when I want a good scifi, I prefer one witout excessive sex scene. I like Game of throne too, but I see it as dark fantasy and it was medival ages. Think about it, can you made Game of throne the same experience without all the sex and tits? Yes. Will it AS popular at it is now? Probably not.

I also love show like Eureka and Warehouse 13, and they do not need sex to sell the serie.

It is a sad commentary that there are so many people complaining about sex on a scifi show and almost no one complains about the violence.

I really liked SGU, I think 'scyfy' completely mismanaged it.

Yeah me 2. I hate that they didn't get anywhere near to finishing the story. Needed at least one more season...probably 2 or 3.

At least in American shows, sex is used almost entirely in a vulgar manner; it's there to titillate or otherwise is used for the shock value, and that's it. Whereas violence, besides being a lot less real, is at least typically used to showcase and drive the central conflict.

Go watch Defiance. Jaime Murray isn't lounging around almost nude because it adds anything of value to the story.*

* Side note: is it me or does Defiance feel a lot like a sci-fi take on GoT with watered down sex and violence?

I loved SG-1, nothing else has come close. I watched Sanctuary with a couple of the SG-1 cast in it. But it descending into nothingness.
