Name a healthy food that you actually like.

Okay, fruit.

Then what? I like salad only when it has blue cheese dressing on it. Eggplant parmesan, but I'm not supposed to have too much fat, and I can't imagine eggplant parmesan without a lot of oil and cheese.

Obviously, I went to the dr. who says Eat Healthy - lots of Veggies and keep the fat low.

What do you like?
 
Cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, baby carrots, fresh green beans. Most veggies are great by themselves if you get them fresh.
 
blanched aspeargus with lemon, garlic and olive oil.
Strawberrys with a dollup of marscapone cheese (not bad for you)
Grilled zuchini
steamed Artichoke (whole) with a yogart dipping sauce
Salad with warmed spinach, pecans, raspberries with a balsamic vinegarette
 
I take a sweet potato, a red pepper, a sweet onion, and baby carrots and dice them up. Throw them in a foil pouch and drop a little crushed peppercorn and some red pepper italian vinegarette in there. Seal it up and toss it on the grill for 25 minutes.

Good stuff.

 
Depends on how bad you consider salt.
There are a lot of veggies that I like with just a bit of salt.
 
I eat corn on the cob w/o butter or salt, personally I think it tastes better that way, i used to put butter and salt on it, and it was good - but now i just dont, honestly i stopped doing it out of 'laziness' because it was too messy to put butter and salt on it.

otherwise i like my veggies w/o any butter on them anyways, occasionally i'll put salt on my watermelon...but everything else i steam and eat....and im still overweight even with portion control....need to work on that workout routine instead of riding my motorcycle... 🙂

Yes, but its the good fat. THe Wall Street Journal had an article about mineral retention from a sald increased 6x-7x when an avacado was included.

others: Cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, baby carrots, green beans, fruit, green peppers, corn....

And what crackhead nutritionists are you talking to? Fat is not bad. Fat is REQUIRED in your diet.

Don't just regurgatate meaningless crap you've heard if you don't know what you're talking about.
 
For breakfast, oatmeal with a dab of honey and brown sugar is a great option. Very filling, high in fiber, and low low fat.

You can also take skim milk, a bit of orange juice, and a big scoop of frozen mixed berries and toss it in the blender for a breakfast smoothie. High in fiber, calcium, vitamin c, and antioxidents. If you use skim milk, it's fat free.

Banana bread cooked with whole wheat ground flour and applesauce in place of cooking oil is another great breakfast food.
 
There are tons of ways you can cook absolutely ANY vegetable that will taste great and you won't have to add all kinds of unhealthy things to it. You just have to learn to appreciate the subtle flavors that most vegetables have. I suspect that you overseason a lot of your food and you are just used to everything being really salty and flavorful. Just break that habit and you will be able to enjoy those vegetables with minimal flavoring!
 
Since I hate butter, I'd say just about ANY veggie tastes better without it... also I like most fruits & tend to enjoy low-fat foods/healthy foods more then unhealthy.
