'Naked' airport screening?

They should just finish the job and require body cavity searches for everyone. This would effectivly finish off the already dieing Airline industry.

By itself, it's no better and no worse than a pat-down. Detects all the same stuff. At Heathrow, they give them the choice. Get molested, or get looked at. Can't see why our implementation would be any different.

 
Don't worry, I'm sure that the media will find some saps to interview at the airport who feel MUCH safer from the eeeevilll terrorists now that their privacy has been completely intruded upon. :disgust:

yea, now that they can see skin...

im sorry if the screeners are going to laugh as you get scanned seeing your chode, but its life... its not like they are sitting there groping you, or can see your, gasp, nipples?

people see more stuff in a day in europe than they will with that screener
 
WTF who cares. This is actually one of the few things the airports can do that wouldn't bother me in the least. I'd rather walk through 100 yards of this stuff than have to take off my shoes/watch/etc.

True, but it will only be a matter of time until airportscreenerporn.com is launched, showing retouched bootleg security scans of popular celebs with all the naughty bits in plain view. TSA screeners don't make a lot of money, so you know damn well that at least a few of them they're going to exploit this tool to make a little side income.
