N82 losing phone memory every day

Im having a low memory problem on my phone, i think its been building up for a very long time, everything is on the memory card and ive deleted everything i can off the phone memory, which netted me 12mb of space a week ago, yesterday it was down to 3mb, today 2.4mb, its slowly losing all its memory again.

How can i stop this? Whats causing it? Im 95% sure its something to do with the S60 OS but i dont know what or how to fix it... help!

E-mails? I don't know. I have never had this problem. I suggest you also ask on HoFo because there's almost never any S60 talk on AT... and while I may know my N82 and N95 inside and out, there's still a lot I don't know =[

Also what if you try a reboot everyday? Does it still diminish little by little?

I found the solution, a hard reset wiping the entire memory. I think a music backup file was stealing memory and its in the system folder which i couldnt get to. At least thats what happened to someone else and their N70.

Im gonna upgrade the firmware on it so this hopefully dosent happen again, unfortunately this time it was too far gone to be fixed properly there wasent any memory left to install anything that couldve helped delete that file, had reset was my only option.
