My motherboard will run at 100 133 but not 166 stable. Memtest show no errors on 100 or 133 but does at 166. Is it the memory of the motherboard? I dont have another of either to test them with. Or is it simply bios timing settings?

I think you may have deffective memory.

Any DDR400 should be able to do DDR 333 @ 2-2-2-7, at least.

Check with another module.
