N00bish C2Q temp question

I'm trying to balance my system between cooling and noise. What is a safe temp for a Q9650@3.6 1.33V running essentially 24/7 folding ~70% of that time? Right now I get 45C when folding and ~52C when primetesting. Will this be OK in the long term? Because if I crank the fans beyond comfortable level I get just 42 when folding and 47 when priming.

45c is fine 24/7, so is 52c even if you ran prime95 24/7.

Those are what my temps are and I run Rosetta & F@H all the time (and have been for over a year), you'll be fine.

My Q9300 @ 3.0, stock voltage (1.225v), gets to 80C under heavy folding (CPU + GPU), with a HyperTX2.
