I'm a huge RTS fan and currently playing WarCraft 3, and I'd like to know if there is any way to test FPS using this game?

My current system is P4 2.4 with GF ti4400. The max setting that I play this game comfortably with is like 1024x768x16. If I put the resolution at 1280x1024, it's still playable but gives me a slight feeling of mouse dragginess. As some of you might know, WC3 isn't that graphically heavy game, but due to the nature of RTS, you have to constantly scroll over large areas of the map. I currently use 1024 resolution with 16bit color, but I really want to play it on 1280x1024 not only for the eye-candies but also it's my monitor's (CML174) native resolution.

But since the comfortness may vary among individuals, (some people may be happy at 60 FPS but some may not be even at 150 FPS) I'd like to know at what FPS I'm satisfied while playing WC3. Especially now I'm just about to sell my ti4400 to my friend who's building his workstation, I may end up with buying a new card. What I want is the 1024x768x16's smoothness (on ti4400) with 1280x1024x32.

I play some warcraft myself and notice that any computer can handle the graphics pretty much unless you start spellcasting :p lightning spells and other stuff like that SERIOUSELY slow down the performance, especially with all the details on. If I were you I would buy a radeon 9700, that would ensure you can run wc3 perfectly and probably wc4 too :p
