n00b Laptop question

in my hp ze1250? ive heard that hps aren't very compatible

no laptops can have their video cards upgraded except a few high end ones, and even then, it would be very limited selection and expensive.

My i6000d from dell isnt high end at all, yet it has an upgradable video card. However, mine is as fast as it can go at the moment....i want an x700 or x800 🙁

I was just surfing over at the Dell boards in preparation of my new I6000 that's coming in on monday or tuesday. If you have a PCI-e card like in my I6000 then you can probably upgrade it. The problem is that some cards have special cooling assemblies that won't fit in all models of laptops. before you buy a card you have to make sure it will fit in the case
